4 of the 5 original designers of the Mac computer were left-handed. Steve Jobs was one of the lefties, or at least he was ambidextrous.
Then, why did he design the IPhone to lose its signal if you hold it with you’re left hand?
According to Engadget.com, gripping the bottom-left corner originally (maybe still does, I don’t have an IPhone) caused the phone to lose its signal. With no decent left-handed option for smart phone users, what were lefties to do?
Jobs’ and Apple’s solution: “Avoid holding it that way.”
Despite the original left-handed dominance, Apple products are not very lefty friendly.
Then why do I choose to use them?
Apple's losing out on 1/10 of their customers.
ReplyDeleteHow could they not take that into account? Ironically, I'm right handed and my phone's usually in my left pocket since my keys are in my right. C'mon, get with it apple. (p.s. my android doesn't do that.)
ReplyDeleteStrange that something so simple would cause the great and almighty iPhone to do that. Naturally, while I read this I picked up my phone to see if this would happen.
